Paola Cantachin is a film, TV and media composer.
She was born in Verona (Italy) where she has begun her musical career as a pianist with M° Federico Fuggini. She has got involved in many different musical projects, developing a solid background as a multi-instrumentalist and playing on nationwide stages such as Porretta Soul Festival (Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, Solomon Burke).
In 2012 she decided to move to London where she discovered her passion for composing music for moving image. This has brought her to focus her studies on producing and composing music to an high standard, achieving in 2016 a First-class Honours Degree in Music Production at the University of West London under the supervision of music composer and producer Richard Lightman.
Since 2015 Paola has been working with independent productions and promising emerging directors, developing collaborations that have led her to be awarded with "Best Soundtrack" and "Best Music: Feature" at the Maverick Movie Awards and the Oniros Film Awards.
